Your Statutory Rights
By law, consumers have the right to cancel certain contracts within 14 calendar days of receiving their goods. To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing via email or post, clearly stating the details of the contract you wish to cancel. Please note, this right does not apply to:
- Bespoke or custom-made building projects or materials.
- Business-to-business contracts.
If cancellation is permitted, you may be responsible for the costs of returning any goods, and these goods must be in saleable condition. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the returned items or proof of return shipping, whichever is earlier.
Custom-made or bespoke items cannot be cancelled unless they are faulty or not as described.
Terms and Conditions of Sale
The following terms apply to all transactions conducted via www.ggbuilds.co.uk. By placing an order, you agree to these terms and conditions. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
Formation of Contract
A binding contract is formed when GG Builds issues a confirmation of your order. GG Builds reserves the right to refuse any order at its discretion.
Description of Services / Warranty and Liability
GG Builds ensures all services and materials meet the agreed specifications at the time of delivery or installation. While we take every care to describe our services and materials accurately, minor deviations may occur due to the nature of the building industry.
Except where prohibited by law, GG Builds excludes liability for indirect or consequential damages. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected. Faulty or misdescribed goods are eligible for repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Typographical Errors
If an error in pricing or description occurs on our website, GG Builds reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price, regardless of order confirmation status.
Payment Terms
All payments must be made in accordance with the payment schedule outlined in your contract. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in delays or suspension of work. Payments are securely processed using any of the available payment methods.
Availability of Services and Materials
All services and materials are subject to availability. In the event of shortages, we will contact you promptly to discuss alternatives or adjustments to your project. GG Builds is not liable for delays caused by supplier issues or other factors beyond our control.
Delivery
GG Builds will make every effort to adhere to agreed project timelines. However, delays caused by unforeseen circumstances, including adverse weather, supply chain issues, or other external factors, may occur. GG Builds shall not be liable for any consequential losses arising from such delays.
Unless otherwise agreed, goods and services will be delivered within 30 days as required by law.
Cancellation of Contracts
For bespoke or custom building projects, cancellation terms will be outlined in your specific contract. If you cancel a project after work has commenced, you may be liable for costs incurred up to that point, including materials and labour.
Faulty Goods or Services
If any materials or workmanship provided by GG Builds are found to be defective, please notify us as soon as possible, ideally within 30 days of discovery, to exercise your right to a repair, replacement, or refund. Any defects reported beyond this period will still be assessed, and repairs or replacements offered in line with applicable warranties.
Force Majeure
GG Builds will not be held liable for failure to fulfill contractual obligations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or governmental restrictions.
Modern Slavery Statement
GG Builds is committed to ethical business practices and complies with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We expect our suppliers and subcontractors to uphold the same standards.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
